Myths are carefully built up by zealots around the health benefits of Ramadan fasting. In fact, Ramadan fasting is not good for you. It is just another religious observance practiced by devout Muslims. They refuse to eat or drink from dawn to dusk. Fasting without drinking water is bad for your health. Some zealots try to bring in pseudo-scientific claims about the health benefits of Ramadan. They feel the urgency of a scientific sanction for the religious ritual and boast unsubstantiated claims. There is a huge amount of false propaganda on the “health benefits” of Ramadan fasting on social media.
