RATIONALIST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2019
Cambridge, UK, 27-28 July 2019
Time to discuss the perspective of a Rational World. Is it a dream, a utopia or our future?
Rationalists known by different names, or have a different focus of their activity - Atheists, Freethinkers, Humanists, Secularists, Skeptics, and Science Communicators - join together and discuss.
The major themes of the conference are:
One Law for All
The Future of Secularism
Esoterism and the Occult
Faith Healing and Evidence-based medicines
Civil Liberties of Atheists
Rational State - Dream, Utopia or Our Future?
Speakers illustrate from their own work and experience where they
think the boundary lies between reason and the irrational, between what is desirable and
destructive in human thought and activity, and to what extent the encouragement - or
suppression - of any kind of thought might be compatible with social well-being.
The agenda of the Rationalist International Conference 2019 is
broadly based, including politics, psychology, philosophy, religion, and science, with
an international cast of speakers and delegates.
